Seat ALHAMBRA 7N – W-BUS diagnostic interface + dongle

With our danhag diagnostic interface, you can read out the error entries and check the single components like metering-pump, glow-plug and combustion air fan. Further more, you can “flash” the firmware of the heater to activate the parking heater funktion of an auxiliary heater. Data traffic are displayed via RX and TX led.

A unique feature of this diagnostig interface is the galvanic insulation between the W-BUS input and the USB-port. This allows you to connect your notebook simultaneously to the cigarette lighter and the W-BUS.

Software

To read out the errorentries and to test the components, the software “Thermotest” is required.

This software is not included into delivery and has to be downloaded from the internet.

Diagnosis

Just connect the diagnostic interface to the power supply +12V / GND and to the diagnostic PIN of the heater.

Softwareupdate “flashen”

You can use the danhag diagnostic interface to update the firmware of the heater.

Please ensure that “COM 1” is assigned to the diagnostic interface. Otherwise, the “flashsoftware” will not be able to find the interface.
